The Atlanta Falcons take on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night with little change to the top of their depth chart. The Falcons lost their first preseason game, 31-17, to the Baltimore Ravens last Thursday.
The offensive skill-players include normal starters Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Julio Jones. Ryan completed 9-of-13 passes for 155 yards and one touchdown against Baltimore, and also had one interception. Jacquizz Rogers, who led the Falcons in rushing last week, remains on the third string behind Turner and Jason Snelling.
Newly-acquired fullback Lousaka Polite sits on the second team. The Falcons acquired Polite to help offset the season-ending injury to rookie Bradie Ewing. Tight end Chase Coffman, also acquired last week, will split third-team reps. On the line, 14-year veteran center Todd McClure will split time with Joe Hawley. The defensive depth chart remains the same.
The game begins at 8:00 p.m EST Thursday night, and the official starting line-up will be released approximately 90 minutes before kick-off.
