The Atlanta Braves have announced their lineup for Friday night to kick off a key three-game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers. If the season ended today both teams would be in the playoffs; LA leads the NL West by one-half game, while the Braves have a comfortable lead in the race for the wild card play-in game.
Atlanta has scored six runs in back-to-back games and are looking to win their fourth in a row this evening. Manager Fredi Gonzalez has elected to rest Brian McCann, who is battling a shoulder issue and has struggled in recent days. David Ross will make the start against Dodgers left-handed pitcher Chris Capuano.
