Dodgers Vs. Braves: L.A. Takes 6-2 Saturday Victory To Even Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers repaid the Atlanta Braves for their walk-off win on Friday with a 6-2 victory at Turner Field on Saturday.

The Braves took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on an RBI double from Martin Prado, but the Dodgers rallied back in the second with a series of bombs. Hanley Ramirez, James Loney, and Luis Cruz hit three solo shots in the span of four Ben Sheets pitches to give L.A. the lead, one the Dodgers wouldn't relinquish.

Ramirez would add a three-run homer off Sheets in the sixth, and Prado swatted a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth, but neither impacted the outcome.

The Braves remain comfortably ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates for the first wild card spot in the National League, but trail the Washington Nationals by four games in the NL East.

The rubber match of the Braves-Dodgers series will be played Sunday at 1:35 p.m. Eastern, with Mike Minor dealing versus Los Angeles' Chad Billingsley.
