The Barclays Leaderboard: Kevin Stadler Makes A Huge Jump

Saturday's third round of The Barclays from Bethpage Black is underway, and of the golfers who have already teed off, none has made a bigger climb up the leaderboard than Kevin Stadler who has jumped 37 spots.

Stadler opened the tournament by shooting a 72 and finished Thursday at 1-over par. He picked things up on Friday by shooting a 69 which placed him at 2-under par heading into round three.

Stadler has already completed the front nine in the third round and is currently at 5-under par on the day and 6-under for the tournament, which places him in a tie for fifth place with Australia's John Senden and American Pat Perez, who are in the same grouping and will tee off later in the day.

Sadler is now just two strokes behind leaders Nick Watney and Sergio Garcia and one stroke behind Vijay Singh and Bob Estes. With nine holes still to play, Stadler is in a great position going into Sunday's final round as long as he can keep up his hot play.
