NASCAR At Bristol: Juan Pablo Montoya Wrecks Ryan Newman On Lap 191, Jeff Burton Involved

During his Sprint Cup career, carnage has seemed to always follow Juan Pablo Montoya. One driver whom the Colombian has consistently raised the ire of is Ryan Newman, the usually laid-back Hoosier.

Montoya and Newman have now had their latest incident , as Montoya got into Newman exiting the fourth turn on lap 191. Newman's spun 270 degrees and slammed the wall with the nose, then slid down the hill and collected Jeff Burton. Burton had been enjoying one of his best performances of the 2012 season.

Newman, meanwhile, was seeking to make the Chase for the Sprint Cup and had remained in contention for the Wild Card thanks to his win at Martinsville this spring. He actually held that spot entering tonight's race, but will probably lose it tonight.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. picked up the lead by not pitting under the caution flag. Denny Hamlin runs second, followed by Montoya, Kevin Harvick, and Clint Bowyer.
