The Barclays 2012: Nick Watney Takes Home Tournament Championship

Nick Watney began the final round at The Barclays in second place but his steady play on Sunday proved to be enough to deliver a win. Watney shot a 2-under, 69 on Sunday and finished at 10-under for the tournament, which was three shots better than second place Brandt Snedeker who finished at 7-under.

Sergio Garcia began the day with the tournament lead but shot a 4-over, 75 to fall into a tie for third place with Dustin Johnson at 6-under. Four golfers finished tied for fifth at 5-under including Lee Westwood and Brian Harman.

A birdie at 18 capped Bubba Watson's final round and a solid top 10 performance at 3-under for the week. Tiger Woods began Sunday within striking distance but fell apart on the back nine of his final round. Woods finished the tournament at 1-over after shooting a 5-over, 76 on Sunday.
