Third baseman Chipper Jones is out of the Braves starting lineup for the second straight day because of a sore oblique muscle. Jones said that he had improved over Saturday -- he would test things out prior to the game and perhaps be available to pinch hit in tonight's game.

#Braves Chipper: "I was inactive yesterday. It's slightly better today. I'll take some hacks and see if I can swing in the game."
Jones will likely return to action in a day or two. Martin Prado played third on Saturday against left-hander Madison Bumgarner. Juan Francisco is in the lineup on Sunday against right-hander Tim Lincecum. Jones is hitting .306 this season in 82 games, and has 13 homers and 54 RBI.
