2012 Barclays Prize Money: Nick Watney Brings In $1.44 Million

Nick Watney became about $1.5 million richer on Sunday when he came from behind to defeat Sergio Garcia and the rest of the field at the 2012 Barclays. Watney's Sunday performance, along with Garcia's disappointing one, turned out to be a $576,000 difference.

Watney walked away with $1.44 million, while runner-up Brandt Snedeker earned $864K. Garcia, tied with Dustin Johnson in third place, earned $464K. Bubba Watson was one of nine players who tied for 10th place to earn $160,889. Tiger Woods had two horrible rounds on Saturday and Sunday, which resulted in him plummeting on the leaderboard. He still goes home with $32,000 for his troubles.

There was an $8 million to work with and the least amount of money awarded to any golfer was $15,200.
