In a game with serious playoff implications for both teams, the Atlanta Braves have gotten out to a 3-0 lead against the San Francisco Giants in the sixth inning of their Sunday night game.
Tim Lincecum only lasted five innings for the Giants, giving up five hits and three earned runs with four strikeouts and two walks.
Atlanta wasted no time, with two runs in the top of the first inning thanks to singles from Martin Prado and Brian McCann. Juan Francisco chipped in with a solo HR in the fourth.
Now that the Giants went to their bullpen, the floodgates have really started to open, as Paul Janish drove in two more runs with a triple.
Tim Hudson has been a rock for the Braves, holding San Francisco to three hits and no runs through six.
