Falcons Preseason 2012: Harry Douglas Ready To Make An Impact

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Harry Douglas won't be a primary target for quarterback Matt Ryan, but Douglas knows he needs to be ready for his opportunities. Roddy White, Julio Jones and Tony Gonzalez will get plenty of attention from opposing defenses, which could give Douglas the chance to make some plays.

"Teams are going to double them," Douglas said. "I always have to be ready, no matter what. Teams can’t double all three of them. … Like coach [Mike] Smith always says ‘You have to step up to the plate and do your job.’"

Douglas caught 39 passes for 498 yards and one touchdown in 2011.
