U.S. Open 2012: TV Schedule, Matches, Live Streaming And More

The 2012 U.S. Open began on Monday with just about everything going according to plan in the men's and women's draws.

On Tuesday, it will be interesting to see how the remaining first-round matches shake out in venerable Flushing Meadows, N.Y.

Andy Roddick will start his tournament against fellow American Rhyne Williams. While most don't expect much out of the aging Roddick, he's shown a propensity to get rolling if he can just escape the first few rounds.

John Isner is a more local name to watch, and some experts feel he can be a challenger to the likes of Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. The former Georgia Bulldog opens against Belgium's Xavier Malisse and could go on a nice run with a favorable draw. Isner, the No. 9 seed, wouldn't have to play Andy Murray, Djokovic or Federer until the semifinals.

Serena Williams will also begin her bid for a fourth U.S. Open title against Coco Vandeweghe, while Caroline Wozniacki looks to create some momentum when taking on Irina-Camelia Begu.

TV: Tennis Channel and ESPN2

Time: 11:00 p.m. ET (TTC) and 1:00 p.m. ET (ESPN2 begins coverage)
