College football season gets underway this week, with nearly every team in the land kicking off their respective schedules.
On Friday night, the Tennessee Volunteers and N.C. State Wolfpack will go head-to-head in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, as the SEC's Vols takes on the Pack from the ACC. As usual, Vegas and gamblers prefer the SEC team in this matchup, as the Vols are favored by 3.5 points over Tom O'Brien's squad.
The over/under for the game is set at 52.5 points.
While neither Tennessee nor N.C. State has BCS championship game aspirations, both teams are certainly looking to compete and earn a respectable bowl bid later this year.
Kickoff is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at 7:30 p.m. ET at the Georgia Dome.
