Auburn Vs. Clemson Odds: Clemson Tigers Favored In ACC/SEC Battle

The Clemson Tigers and Auburn Tigers kick off their 2012 seasons against each other at the Georgia Dome on Saturday, Sept. 1, 7 p.m. ET. In what's almost a surprise, the ACC team is favored by Vegas and gamblers to win the game. Clemson comes into the contest as 3½ point favorites over Auburn. The over/under for the game is 55½, with 73% of gamblers taking the under so far.

Last year, Clemson went 10-4, while Auburn struggled without Cam Newton, going 8-5. With a spread of just 3½ points, Auburn and Clemson fans should be in for a dandy of a season opener on Saturday night, as both teams look to avoid a loss to start the season. Auburn and Clemson's game will be the second in as many days at the Georgia Dome, as Tennessee is set to take on N.C. State on Friday night.

For the latest on the Auburn Tigers, head over to College and Magnolia. For all things Clemson, head over to Shakin the Southland.
