The Angel McCoughtry drama is ongoing but the rest of the Atlanta Dream and new head coach Fred Williams must focus on the remainder of the season. There are nine games left including Thursday's contest against the Washington Mystics with the Dream holding a 12-13 record. Atlanta is currently in third place in the Eastern Conference and 2.5 games in front of New York and Chicago.

Atlanta defeated the Mystics last Friday 81-69 without McCoughtry. However they lost to last place Tulsa at home on Tuesday as the turmoil perhaps reached its peak.

There is a chance that McCoughtry's suspension could be lifted prior to Thursday's game if she decides to sign and adhere to a written list of demands handed down to her by Williams. The head coach however said on Wednesday that he "had no idea" whether McCoughtry would sign the paper before Thursday's shootaround.

Tip off is slated for 7 p.m. from Philips Arena and the game can be seen nationally on NBATV.

Game Date/Time: Thursday, August 30, 7 p.m. ET

Location: Philips Arena, Atlanta Georgia

TV: SportSouth, NBATV

Online Streaming: WNBA Live Access
