U.S. Open 2012: TV Schedule, Matches, Live Streaming And More

As the U.S. Open from Flushing Meadow moves into the first weekend, the field begins to shrink Friday as second and third round action comes all day from the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Andy Roddick, who announced Thursday he would retire after the completion of his run at the U.S. Open, will play during Friday's night session in a second round meeting with Austria's Bernard Tomic, who is ranked 53rd in the world. Roddick is still the last American male to win a major tennis championship, claiming his only Grand Slam crown at the same Arthur Ashe stadium nine years ago.

Also in action Friday are defending U.S. Open champions Novak Djokovic and Samantha Stosur. Djokovic looks to repeat and regain some of the momentum from 2011 that he has lost. Djokovic takes on Brazil's Rogerio Dutra Silva, ranked 112th in the world.
