Running back Jason Snelling missed the team's final preseason game because of a lower leg injury. He is currently questionable for the team's regular season opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sept. 9.

Linebacker Akeem Dent may have suffered a concussion back against the Baltimore Ravens on Aug. 9. But in the Falcons' final preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday, Dent recorded eight tackles. Dent appears to be fully recovered from the injury.

Rookie fullback Bradie Ewing tore his ACL during training camp and has already been put on injured reserve. Losing him during training camp was a blow the Falcons. With both Ewing and Snelling injured it may come down to Mike Cox as the blocking fullback.
