The flurry of Falcons roster activity has continued through the afternoon as the team works toward its ultimate goal of a 53-man team.
As players learn their fate throughout the day, many take it upon themselves to inform the public whether they've made the team or not. Two such players are QB Dominique Davis and OG Phillipkeith Manley, who have both made the final roster, according to their Twitter accounts:

Made the 53! Officially an atlanta falcon!

Both players were undrafted free agents signed in the wake of the 2012 NFL Draft. While Davis clearly impressed throughout the preseason, so much so that the team cut both John Parker Wilson and Chris Redman, the rookie guard Manley went far more unnoticed through camp and exhibition games.
In addition, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the AJC is reporting that both WR Drew Davis and OT Bryce Harris have been released, but appear headed for the practice squad:
Falcons roster updates: WR Drew Davis & OT Bryce Harris also have been released. If they clear waivers, practice squad. shar.es/7Ed8k

With Davis' release, there is strong speculation that local product Kevin Cone will make the team as the No. 5 wideout. The final, official decisions, however, do not have to be made until 9:00 PM, so stay tuned.
