Seung-Yul Noh is in first place after the first round at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship, 9-under par and just ahead of Chris Kirk and Tiger Woods, who sit at 8-under and 7-under, respectively.
It's another strong opening for Woods, who has repeatedly played well in tournament opening rounds this year, before strugging on the third and fourth days. Noh has only one top-10 in his career, a ninth-place finish in the 2012 Wells Fargo Championship back in May.
The Georgia area's representatives in the field had mixed results on the day. Swainsboro, Ga. resident Blake Adams currently sits tied for 27th place at 2-under par, while University of Georgia alum Bubba Watson finished 4-over par, leaving him tied for 94th. He'll need a strong Round 2 if he wants to avoid the cut.
