Tennessee Vs. NC State: Fan Falls From Georgia Dome Upper Level

A fan at Friday's Tennessee Volunteers vs. N.C. State Wolfpack game at the Georgia Dome fell from the upper level seating, landing on a person sitting below on the mezzanine, according to a report from WSBTV. Both individuals were taken to the Atlanta Medical Center.

The fan, a 20-year-old man, was standing in the front row of section 311, a Tennessee student section, when he fell, according to Mark Salbach. The man fell while celebrating Tennessee's second touchdown. As those on the scene described it:

"We were all celebrating. He started pumping fists and was leaning over the rail. He just slipped off," [Tennessee senior Ryan] Coleman said. "We looked down. It took forever to get someone down there. He was moving a little bit. It took about 15 minutes to get a stretcher down there."

Police were investigating the incident.
