Braves Add Four September Call-Ups

The Atlanta Braves added four players to the roster on Saturday in their first wave of September call-ups. The team added veteran first baseman Lyle Overbay, relief pitcher Peter Moylan, catcher J.C. Boscan and outfielder Jose Costanza.

Moylan makes his return to the majors after undergoing shoulder surgery last October. It was his third major surgical procedure in the past five years as he's also gone under the knife for elbow ligament surgery (Tommy John) in 2008 and for a bulging disc which kept him out for most of last season.

Overbay, at 35-years-old, signed a minor league contract with Triple-A Gwinett on Aug. 20 and is in his 12th season in the majors.
