The Atlanta Braves put a five-game winning streak on the line Monday as they take on the Milwaukee Brewers in the first of a three-game set on the road in the midst of their mid-September playoff push.
The Braves send Mike Minor to the mound to contend with a potent Brewers lineup. The Crew have averaged 6.2 runs over their last 20 games, during which the team has compiled a 15-5 record.
The Brewers will counter with Wily Peralta, who won his first career start on Sept. 5, going six strong against the Miami Marlins, giving up just three runs and five hits.
The Braves offense has struggled in its last few games despite the winning streak, scoring three or fewer runs in five of its last six contests.
