Florida Atlantic Vs. Georgia: Bulldogs Looking For Improvement From John Theus

Georgia spoiled Missouri's SEC debut over the weekend, but the win didn't come without some issues for the Bulldogs. Freshman offensive lineman John Theus after battling an ankle injury all week, committed three false start penalties in the contest and also missed some assignments, according to offensive coordinator Mike Bobo:

"He went through some adversity in the game the other night. A couple of missed blocks and missed assignments. The guy continued to play hard and play physical. We've just got to get him out to practice this week so he can get better."

Despite Theus' struggles, Georgia won comfortably on the strength of a 32-point second half. The Bulldogs piled up 355 total yards in the game, 242 of those through the air.
