FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Bubba Watson And Matt Kuchar Still In Contention

After the BMW Championship, former Georgia Bulldog golfer Bubba Watson and St. Simmons Island, Ga. resident Matt Kuchar remain in contention for the FedEx Cup. Watson finished at 12-under tied for No. 12 at the BMW Championship and Kuchar finished at 1-under tied at No. 54.

Watson dropped one spot in the FedEx Cup standings to No. 11 and Kuchar dropped three spots to No. 16. Rory McIlroy, who has won three of the last four tournaments he has entered, the PGA, BMW and Deutsche Bank Championships, leads the standings entering the Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods who finished tied for fourth at the BMW enters the Tour Championship in second. Lee Westwood, who finished tied for second at the BMW Championship rose 15 places in the standings to No. 8.

3. Nick Watney
4. Phil Mickelson
5. Brandt Snedeker
6. Louis Oosthuizen
7. Dustin Johnson
8. Lee Westwood
9. Zach Johnson
10. Jason Dufner

The Tour Championship will take place from Sept. 20-23 at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. The top 30 golfers in the FedEx Cup standings will be eligible to participate in this tournament.
