With the Virginia Cavaliers coming into town on Saturday, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are preparing to play their second ACC contest of 2012.
However, the situation at quarterback is murky behind starter Tevin Washington. Vad Lee played extremely well against an overwhelmed Presbyterian College.
Head coach Paul Johnson says he's not entirely sure who the backup signal-caller is going into the third game, calling the role "situational" mostly because Lee is still very raw, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"He’s a work in progress," Johnson said of Lee, adding that he’ll "... try to get him some work as we go. Thought he did some good things (against Presbyterian). He’s got a lot to work on. I think he’d be the first to tell you that."
Johnson clearly feels Lee has potential, but will he get action? The head coach didn't exactly offer a concrete answer.
"We may play him in every game. We may not. Just depends. Situational."
