Georgia linebacker Jordan Jenkins helped the Bulldogs score the final touchdown over the Missouri Tigers last Saturday when he recovered a fumble on the 5-yard line after Jarvis Jones sacked Tigers quarterback James Franklin.
But that's not good enough for the freshman linebacker who has his sights set on much bigger goals, like getting into the end zone this season, according to a DogBytesOnline report:
"It felt like time stopped," said Jenkins, a freshman outside linebacker. "The only thing I saw was me and the ball. I had planned it all out in my head. In the first quarter me and (linebacker) Josh Dawson were talking and I said, `I feel like I'm about to get a fumble or a pick six.' I saw Jarvis coming off the edge and I was like, `Oh, yeah, it's coming.'"
"If I would have got another step, I was diving in the end zone," he said. "I got to get that before the season's over with."
