Falcons Add Phillipkeith Manley To Practice Squad

The Atlanta Falcons have made another minor roster move, signing offensive lineman Phillipkeith Manley to the practice squad just days after cutting him to make room for receiver Drew Davis. Here's the official statement from the Falcons' web site:

Manley, 6-5, 309 pounds, was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent on April 30, 2012 out of Toledo. In 2011, he helped pave the way for the Rockets offense to rush for 2,777 yards, including RB Adonis Thomas, who logged a team-high 1,071 yards.

The Falcons' biggest concern on the offensive line will be at left tackle, as backup and former starter Will Svitek was lost for the year with a knee injury in the preseason.
