College Football Rankings: Georgia Fifth In SB Nation Blogpoll

After defeating Missouri in its SEC opener on Saturday, Georgia climbed up the SB Nation Blogpoll to fifth in the rankings. The impressive win gives the nation's best conference three of the top fives teams, as Alabama and LSU check in at one and two.

All together, there are six SEC teams in the top-25. The South Carolina Gamecocks are No. 11, the Florida Gators are No. 17 and the Tennessee Volunteers are No. 24.

Georgia Tech also got some consideration for the top-25, as it was included among the teams receiving votes.

The Bulldogs should undoubtedly stay among the top teams after their game against Florida Atlantic, while Georgia Tech could find its way into the rankings if it can knock off Virginia.
