Braves Vs. Brewers Final Score: Atlanta Falls To Milwaukee 8-2

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Milwaukee Brewers, 8-2, on Wednesday night, and the loss allowed the Brewers to sweep the Braves during their three-game set. Atlanta starting pitcher Paul Maholm had a poor outing which led to Milwaukee getting the victory.

Maholm lasted only 4.1 innings, and during that time allowed nine hits and eight runs, with six of them earned. All eight runs came during the fifth inning. His poor start wiped away a solo home run by Jason Heyward in the first inning, and then another run in the fourth.

The Braves offense was shut down from the fifth inning on and they could never get anything going to rally and get back in the game.
