Falcons Injury Report: Atlanta With Three Players Limited In Practice On Thursday

As the Atlanta Falcons prepare for their showdown with the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football next week, the team could be without a few key players due to injury. According to the official team injury report, Robert James, Sean Weatherspoon and Roddy White all had limited participation in practice on Thursday.

James, a fourth year linebacker, is currently nursing an injury to his knee. Weatherspoon, Atlanta's starting weakside linebacker, has a hamstring injury. White, the Falcon's All-Pro wide receiver, has an injury to his groin.

The Falcons also lost starting cornerback Brent Grimes to a season-ending Achilles tendon injury in their 40-24 blowout victory over the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday.

In a game billed as a showdown between Matt Ryan and Peyton Manning, the aforementioned Ryan can ill-afford to be without his main receiving target. On defense, the Falcons certainly can't afford to be without one of their key starters on defense with Manning under center for the Broncos.
