Dream Vs. Mystics: Angel McCoughtry's 26 Points Lead Atlanta Past Washington, 82-74

Angel McCoughtry scored 26 points on 10 of 18 shooting, and the Atlanta Dream rallied from a 10-point halftime deficit to claim an 82-74 victory over the Washington Mystics on Friday. Atlanta outscored Washington, 28-18, in the final quarter to win its third consecutive game. The win locked up a playoff berth for Atlanta.

McCoughtry filled up the stat sheet against Washington. In addition to her impressive shooting night, the guard tallied eight assists, three steals and one blocked shot. Erika de Saouza led the Dream in rebounds, pulling down eight. De Saouza scored 12 points.

Monique Currie led three Washington players in double-digit scoring with 20 points. Matee Ajavon scored 15 points and Jasmine Thomas added 13. Ashley Robinson led the Mystics with seven rebounds.

Washington has now lost 10 consecutive games and has dropped to 5-26 on the season. Entering Friday's action, the Mystics were in the Eastern Conference cellar, seven games behind fifth-place Chicago. Washington is a WNBA-worst 1-15 on the road this season.
