Nationals Vs. Braves Time, TV, Radio Info And More

The Atlanta Braves will try to cling to any chance they have at catching the Washington Nationals in the National League East Saturday afternoon when they host the division leaders in the second game of their weekend series.

The Braves won Friday night's opener with a walk-off, 2-1 victory when pinch-hitter Tyler Pastornicky reached on an Ian Desmond throwing error that allowed Andrelton Simmons to score the winning run. The win pulled the Braves to within 7.5 games of the Nationals for the division lead and kept the team's comfortable Wild Card lead over the rest of the pack in the NL intact.

The Braves won for the 20th time in a row in games started by Kris Medlen, who struck out 13 but wasn't around at the end for the decision.

The Braves will send Tommy Hanson (12-8, 4.35 ERA) to the mound Saturday to take on Edwin Jackson (9-10, 3.85). The game takes place at 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally by FOX. Local fans can hear the game on the radio at WCNN 680 AM and WNNX 100.5 FM.
