The Bulldogs got some of their key suspended players back against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, and it made a difference for Georgia. Defensive back Sanders Commings returned from his two-game suspension to record four tackles and a pass break-up. Here's what he had to say following the game, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"It wasn't that difficult because I always rep both. It felt great just to be back out there with the guys. It's great just to put all that other stuff behind me."
Commings was a 13-game starter for the Bulldogs last season at cornerback, but was utilized as a free safety on Saturday. The Bulldogs defeated Florida Atlanta on Saturday, 56-20, after starting out slow and finishing strong.
