The big name on the San Diego Chargers injury report has been starting running back Ryan Mathews who has been out since the preseason with a broken clavicle. On Wednesday he was a full participant in practice, and all signs point for him to make his season debut against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
The other injury concern for the Chargers is tight end Antonio Gates, who is being slowed by a rib injury and was limited in practice. This injury caused Gates to miss the Week 2 game against the Tennesse Titans.
