The pass protection for the Atlanta Falcons played extremely well on Monday night against the Denver Broncos, and has performed well during both games this season.
So far, the Falcons have allowed just a pair of sacks, and that can be attributed to the play of tackles Sam Baker and Tyson Clabo. Baker and Clabo both drew tough assignments against Denver, and stood their ground just fine:
"Our [offensive] line is pass-protecting extremely well," Smith said. "Sam Baker is as healthy as he's ever been. Tyson Clabo was very good in pass protection [against Denver.] Both of those guys had a tough draw.
"Those two guys that they bring off the edge are outstanding pass rushers, and for the most part we felt like we neutralized them."
An impressive offensive line should allow the weapons they have in the passing game to shine, with Matt Ryan throwing the ball to both Julio Jones and Roddy White.
