2012 U.S. Open Scores: Novak Djokovic Advances In Straight Sets

No. 2 seed Novak Djokovic advanced easily in the U.S. Open third round Sunday, dominating No. 31-seeded Julien Benneteau in Arthur Ashe Stadium, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.

Djokovic advances to the fourth round to face the winner between No. 20 seed Andy Roddick and Fabio Fognini, an unseeded Italian. That match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. ET, also in Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Djokovic made quick work of Benneteau as he has all other opponents so far in this U.S. Open. The second-seeded Serbian still hasn't dropped a set in the tournament. He slammed 13 aces past Benneteau on Sunday, adding to that 41 winners to Benneteau's 15.

No. 9 seed John Isner, the former University of Georgia standout and highest-seeded American in the field, will face No. 19 Philipp Kohlschreiber at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Men's third-round action is televised live Sunday between CBS and CBS Sports Network from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. ET, and from 7-11 p.m. on Tennis Channel.
