Missouri's Sheldon Richardson Takes Early Shot At The Bulldogs

Outspoken Missouri defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson did his best to add a little bit of spice to this week's matchupbetween the Tigers and the Bulldogs.

Richardson: "I watched that game. I turned it off, too."

Why?

"It's like watching Big Ten football. It's old man football."

Richardson didn't start there saying that Missouri's transition to the SEC was way over-hyped and that teams were acting like Missouri was "coming from the Wac or something." Mark Richt laughed the comments off during Sunday's teleconference but you can rest assured that he will make sure his team knows all about them by the time Saturday gets here.

Perhaps Richardson should take a look at what conference has won the last six National Championships. At any rate he and the Tigers will get their opportunity to prove themselves on Saturday.
