Fresh off their first conference victory of the season over the Virginia Cavaliers, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets will host the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Cavaliers this past Saturday, 56-20. In that game they ran for 461 yards to the Cavaliers' 91, jumping out to a 35-7 halftime lead.
The Hurricanes are coming off a 38-10 victory over the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats. Hurricanes quarterback Stephen Morris completed 20-of-35 passes for 211 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Running back Duke Johnson ran the ball 14 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns, leading a rushing attack that averaged 7.4 yards per carry for the Hurricanes.
