Vanderbilt Vs. Georgia: Todd Gurley, Keith Marshall Becoming One-Two Punch For The Dawgs

Coming into the season, running back was maybe the biggest question mark on the Georgia Bulldogs roster. Now after Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall have combined for over 200 rushing yards for the second straight week, it's starting to look like a strength.

According to Roger Clarkson from DogBytesOnline.com, Gurley and Marshall's teammates and coaches have believed in them the whole time:

"I’m not surprised at all," Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said. "They’re the two guys, along with Ken (Malcome) that we’re going with. They’re smart kids. They know what we’re doing offensively and they’ve got talent. Basically, all we have to do is get them to the secondary and the line’s doing a great job of that. Aaron (Murray) is doing a great job of checking to the right play call."

The backs are quick to trace their success to the Georgia offensive line and offensive staff:

"That’s just a good job from the line and the receivers and the playcalling from the coaches," Gurley said. "It’s just a blessing to be able to get the ball and see those big holes so we can get some big runs."

Gurley and Marshall could be in for another big game next weekend, as the Dawgs take on the Tennessee Volunteers and their 77th ranked rushing defense.
