The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders are knotted up, 7-7, after the opening quarter in Atlanta.
The Yellow Jackets got on the board early after MTSU quarterback Logan Kilgore was picked off by Jabari Hunt-Days on the Georgia Tech 48 yard line. That set-up a five play, 53-yard scoring drive, capped off by a one-yard touchdown run by Tevin Washington to put Georgia Tech up 7-0.
But the Blue Raiders would come right back and tie things up as Kilgore orchestrated a 12-play, 75-yard scoring drive that ended with an incredible one-handed catch in the back of the end zone by wideout Anthony Amos.
The remainder of the quarter would yield no more points for either team.
