Georgia Vs. Missouri: RB Todd Gurley Could Start On Saturday

Freshman Todd Gurley impressed in his Georgia debut, running for 100 yards and two scores on just eight carries. Starting running back Ken Malcome suffered a hand injury in the opener, which could mean that Gurley gets the start in the Bulldogs' second game. Mark Richt hasn't made a decision on that yet, though he said Sunday that Gurley will certainly figure into their offensive plans.

Richt wasn't ready to name his starting tailback, but it's clear Gurley has earned a prominent role.

"He'll definitely get the ball, that's for sure," Richt said.

Gurley, who also had a 100-yard kick return for a TD, and fellow freshman Keith Marshall finished Saturday's win over Buffalo as the team's top two rushers.
