The Georgia Bulldogs are currently three point favorites over the Missouri Tigers according to Odds Shark. In Georgia's first game against the Buffalo Bulls, a 45-23 Georgia win, running back Todd Gurley ran for 100 yards and scored three touchdowns, including one a kickoff return for a touchdown. The defense however, gave up scoring drives of 75 and 84 yards in the first half and only led 24-16 at the half.
The Missouri Tigers won their first game against the Southeast Louisiana Lions, 62-10. Special teams and defense were the big keys to the Tigers as punt returner Marcus Murphy returned two punts for touchdowns from 72 and 70 yards respectively. Zaviar Gooden returned an interception for a touchdown and Michael Sam returned a fumble for a touchdown. Running back Kendial Lawrence also ran for 121 yards and two touchdowns, one of them from 76 yards out.
The two teams play on Saturday, Sept.8 at 7:45 p.m. at Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo.
