Mets Vs. Braves time, tv, radio info and more

The Atlanta Braves will face the New York Mets on Sunday for their final home game of the year, and there are all kinds of historical and playoff implications. A loss by the Braves would clinch the NL East for the Nationals, meaning the Braves would have to play in the one game wildcard playoff. However, even if the Braves win, a Washington win over St. Louis would still clinch the division.

Sunday is also the final home game for Chipper Jones. Jones has spent all 19 of his major league seasons with the Braves, who will get at least one more home game in the playoffs.

Kris Medlen will take the ball for Atlanta, and will face off against the Mets' Jenrry Mejia. The Braves have won the past 22 games that Medlen has started. A win on Sunday would set the MLB record for consecutive wins, breaking the tie currently held between Medlen and the Braves and Whitey Ford and the Yankees.
