Rockies Vs Braves Lineups: Tuesday Night Lineups

The Atlanta Braves look to extend their modest winning streak to three games on Tuesday night, when they play host to the Colorado Rockies in the second game of a four-game series.

Both Jim Tracy and Fredi Gonzalez have announced their starting lineups for Tuesday night's contest, and they are as follows:

Colorado Rockies

  1. Dexter Fowler, CF
  2. Josh Rutledge, SS
  3. Carlos Gonzalez, LF
  4. Wilin Rosario, C
  5. Tyler Colvin, RF
  6. Jordan Pacheco, 1B
  7. Chris Nelson, 3B
  8. DJ LeMahieu, 2B
  9. Drew Pomeranz, SP

Atlanta Braves

  1. Michael Bourn, CF
  2. Reed Johnson, LF
  3. Chipper Jones, 3B
  4. Freddie Freeman, 1B
  5. Martin Prado, 2B
  6. Jason Heyward, RF
  7. David Ross, C
  8. Paul Janish, SS
  9. Tommy Hanson, SP

Noticeably absent from the starting lineup is Braves second baseman Dan Uggla, who is no longer an everyday player.

The inconsistent Hanson has a perfect opportunity to rebound against a struggling Rockies lineup that becomes significantly less potent in the bottom half of the order. We'll see if he can right the ship as the Braves look to gain ground on the Nationals in the National League East race and maintain their lead for one of the league's two Wild Card spots.

For all things Atlanta Braves, be sure to head over to Talking Chop and join the discussion.
