Heading into the first week of the NFL season most teams should be fairly healthy, there have been no real games outside of starters playing a little bit in the exhibition season. The season opener between the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs is no exception as the Falcons have only two players listed on their injury list.
The two players listed are cornerback Chris Ownens who practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury, and the other is running back Jason Snelling who also limited in practice because of a calf injury.
As for the Chiefs they were a little bit more banged up as they have six players who are on the teams injury report. defensive tackle Anthony Toribio, defensive end Allen Bailey and defensive back Kendrick Lewis did not practice at all on Wednesday. Then there were three other players who were limited in Wednesday's practice with linebacker Derrick Johnson, corner back Brandon Flowers and corner back Jalil Brown.
