The 2012 BMW Championship begins Thursday at the Crooked Stick Golf Club, and the tournament is the last chance for golfers to improve their placement in the FedEx Cup standings. The top 30 will advance to the Tour Championship following this event.
The Atlanta area is well represented in the tournament. Georgia University grads Brian Harman, Bubba Watson and Chris Kirk are all participating, and Georgia Tech is represented by Brye Molder, Matt Kuchar and Troy Matteson.
