Falcons Vs. Chiefs Injury Report: Snelling and Owens Return To Practice

As the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs gear up for their opening week matchup, both teams are struggling with players limited by injuries in the final days of practice.

Falcons running back Jason Snelling had been limited in practice on Wednesday because of a calf injury, but was able to participate fully in Thursday's practice, and the indication is that he will be available for the Falcons' opener. Snelling rushed for 151 yards in 2011.

Cornerback Chris Owens was similarly limited in practice Wednesday but participated fully in Thursday's team preparations.

The Chiefs are more hampered by injuries, as four players did not participate in Thursday's practice, while three others were limited in practice, including linebacker Derrick Johnson and cornerback Brandon Flowers.

Chiefs defensive back Kendrick Lewis has missed practice both Wednesday and Thursday because of shoulder problems, while Kansas City defensive tackle Anthony Toribio has missed both practices with ankle injuries.
