U.S. Open 2012: TV Schedule, Matches, Live Streaming And More

Women's semifinal action highlights Friday's action from the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadow, N.Y. as Serena Williams takes on Sara Errani and Maria Sharapova takes on Victoria Azarenka looking to gain berths in the U.S. Open women's final.

All four contenders are ranked within the top 10 at the tournament, highlighted by No. 1 Azarenka. Williams will be aiming for her sixth berth in a U.S. Open final, where she has won three times before. Sharapova will be looking for just her second berth in a final after winning the tournament in 2006.

Neither Errani nor Azarenka had reached the semifinal round at the U.S. Open before this year, much less the final at the year's last major tournament.

The men's doubles final will start things off Friday afternoon as No. 2 Bob and Mike Bryan take on No. 5 Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek.
