The Georgia Bulldogs will make a trip to Columbia, Mo., on Saturday to face the Missouri Tigers in the first-ever SEC conference game for the Tigers. Georgia enters the game ranked seventh in both the AP Top 25 poll and the USA Today coaches' poll. Missouri is not ranked in either, but should provide a tough test in front of what is sure to be a lively home crowd.
The Bulldogs opened the 2012 season with a 45-23 win over the Buffalo Bulls. In that game, freshman running back Todd Gurley rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries. Gurley also stole the show on special teams, returning a kick 100 yards for a score.
Missouri got off to a nice start in Week 1 with a 62-10 trouncing of the Southeastern Louisiana Lions of the FCS. Mizzou's offense was led by senior running back Kendial Lawrence, who carried the ball 10 times for 121 yards and two touchdowns.
