Georgia Tech ran up over 700 yards of offense in a 59-3 rout over the Presbyterian Blue Hose. The Yellow Jackets led 21-0 at the half and completely blew the game open in the second.
Fans were treated to their first look at redshirt freshman quarterback Vad Lee who finished with 101 yards rushing and 82 passing. Lee's only completion was an 82 yard scoring strike to Jeff Greene that made the score 45-0. Lee also had a run of 79 yards in the game.
Tevin Washington scored a pair of touchdowns while throwing for 161 yards and rushing for 97 more. Zach Laskey led the team on the ground with 116 yards on 12 carries including a 56-yard touchdown on Tech's first possession. Greene finished with three receptions for 94 yards and a touchdown.
