The Atlanta Dream successfully bounced back from Friday's double overtime loss to the Lynx with a 93-68 win over the Washington Mystics. After such a tough defeat on Friday, the Mystics were the perfect opponent for Atlanta who helped extend Washington's losing streak to eight games.
Atlanta outscored Washington by 14 in the second quarter while building a 48-27 advantage. They held Washington at arms length in the second half and cruised home to the victory.
Five different players scored in double figures for the Dream led by Armintie Price and Lindsey Harding who finished with 15 each. Erika de Souza logged a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Caroline Kraayevelt added 11 points off the bench while Tiffany Hayes finished with 10.
Atlanta hit 58 percent of its shot attempts while racking up 29 assists as a team to go against just 15 turnovers. The Dream are back in action on Tuesday when they host Lauren Jackson and the Seattle Storm at Philips Arena.
